For this broad vase, I have used a vibrant sheet of Youghiogheny “wild waters” intense blue/green stained glass, together with glass frit, ribbons and murrini to enliven the surface.
The folds and pleats that are introduced to the glass during high-firing are totally unique to the work and cannot again be duplicated.
