Using five hand-blown rondels in blazing colors, this panel is dedicated to the skilled hot-glass process of glass rondel creation.
Created in a furnace reaching 2400 degrees, molten glass is gathered and carefully blown and shaped into these unique works of art.
In the background I have used special Bullseye confetti glass, all copper-foiled, soldered, polished and waxed. The whole is then surrounded with patinated solid copper came for strength and great longevity. The work is finally signed on the reverse in copper plate.
