For that ubiquitous vegetable that bears an unmistakable shape and color, this panel celebrates the radish for its vivid presentation.
Based on an original design by Chantel Pare, this panel uses a Bullseye unique stained glass confetti background of Spring greens, touches of blue, pink, orange and yellow, all on semi-transparent glass. Leaves are represented by Bullseye mottled emerald greens. Radishes are a bright Youghiogheny streaked red.
After cutting and grinding each piece of glass, the whole is copper foiled, silver soldered, patinated, polished and waxed. A durable and strong surround of antiqued zinc is added, signed in copper plate. A Don Scott custom solid cherry frame with Texas ebony pegging has been fitted for the final touch.
