WILD ROSE STUDIO SAMPLE A limited production sheet of blue iridescent and mottled Oceana glass is used as the surround for a one-of-kind studio sample of the “wild rose” lamp shade based on an original design by Tiffany Studios, circa 1910. The rose panel makes use of variegated Bullseye, Uroboros and Youghiogheny striated and mottled glass for petals, leaves and background. The entire panel is copper foiled and silver soldered, with a dark waxed patina and antiqued zinc frame. The panel is signed in copper plate. As a final and fitting embellishment, a custom Don Scott pecky sycamore frame has been superbly fashioned for this panel. 17”x 19.5” julienbyrne.com NFS
