BLUE ON BLUE INCALMO VASE Double rounds of translucent clear glass, with 23 karat gold foil between, are first fused into one inseparable whole. To the surface is then added random lengths of cobalt glass ribbon. Surrounding this is a fused incalmo band of true blue glass frit. Finally, the entire work is draped under intense heat to produce a fingerprint vase of totally unique pleats and folds.
