DOUBLE COBWEBS AND APPLE BLOSSOMS

DOUBLE COBWEBS AND APPLE BLOSSOMS” Modeled on the extraordinary Tiffany Studios Cobweb lamp from circa 1910, this flat panel studio sample celebrates the original and now very rare studio samples that the Studios created for its artisans, colorists and clients. The cobwebs are fashioned from palest pink stipple glass, with blossoms of deeper pink, and the surrounding sky of variegated blue stipple glass. The whole is circled by the deepest red/orange mottled Oceana glass, then surrounded in patinated and antiqued zinc, and finally finished in a glorious Don Scott custom cherry frame with Texas ebony pegging. Measures 18”x 20”.
