EARLY CYAN MORNING

True to its name, this panel is a vibrant homage to the intense cyan skies, fringed in fleecy white clouds,  that  peak through the magnolia, pine and live oak  boughs at Rabbit Trace on chilly Spring mornings.

The subtly iridescent, intense opalescent  cyan blue in this panel  is framed  by splendid white mottled collage glass at the perimeter and throughout the work.

The panel is bound by antiqued silver solder, surrounded  in hand-distressed zinc and finished with a glorious custom Don Scott frame of  perfectly matched  American cherry with through-tenons and African ebony pegging .

A modern take on a timeless theme.

“There was a time when meadow, grove, and stream,
The earth, and every common sight,
To me did seem
Appareled in celestial light,
The glory and the freshness of a dream."

                                                                ----  William Wordsworth
