Using a sheet of vibrant sea blue Youghiogheny stained glass as the background, I have fashioned a critter-rich fused vase for pure enjoyment.
To this sheet of glass I have added multiple examples, all in pure gold foil, of flora and fauna native to the Gulf Coast. Bees, butterflies, moths, birds, leaves and even ubiquitous ants all have a place in this creation.
The pleats and folds (in which some of the critters are hiding) of the subject vase are unique and cannot again be duplicated. Thus, as ever, this piece is one of one.
