This creation begins with a quarter-sawn oak Craftsmen lamp structure by master craftsman, Phil Myer. I have next created four stained glass panels in a spider web pattern, with central cabochon to each. The stained glass is hand cut and copper foiled before soldering, patina, waxing and fitting to the lamp.
The heavily mottled glass used is from Oceana Glass. The cabochons are kiln fired and fused in the studio.
One of one, and created here in the piney woods of the coastal plain of Mississippi.
