Here is a lamp that fills the need for a table lamp tall enough to illuminate reading material, while bathing a room in a soft light.
The centerpiece of this work is four bespoke glass rondels of the ubiquitous Eastern cottontail rabbit, created by the English artist, Bren Henderson. The lamp structure of quarter sawn oak is courtesy of Phil Myer.
For the stained glass, I have chosen a special stipple glass (1665 SP) by Youghiogheny Art Glass in white ice, turquoise, cobalt blue and silver yellow. Glass for each of the four discrete panels is cut, ground, copper foiled, soldered, patinated and waxed before final assembly.
As is true of all of my work, this lamp is unique.
