This vase takes advantage of several different forms of fused glass. Millefiori, stringers, ribbons and vitrigraph all contribute to giving this bright vase its unique exterior look. And pure gold foil enlivens the interior.
Submitting glass to hours of intense heat imparts to the initial design a special unified finish and shimmer. And, of course, the distinctive fluting is completely unique to each vessel and gives a one-off quality that can never again be duplicated.
These fused works are impervious to the elements and will never fade.
