Continuing with my foray into the technique of “false cracking”, this medium fused shallow bowl, at about 8” in diameter, makes an unmistakable and completely unique statement. The shattering of the top layer of glass and its manipulation and reassembly with contrasting jet black frit between the fractures, imparts a one-of-a-kind look and finish .
And like all my creations, each is brought to life in the piney woods of the Mississippi coastal plain. And also, by special order, available in a set of four, each with its own “fractured” design.
Perfectly sized for salad, pasta, red beans and rice, etc.
