Using the same multi-step technique I used in my prior “false cracked” plate , I chose a pure white background with a robin's egg blue “cracking” overlaid with water clear glass powder. The fused double-thick disk was then fired to 1480 degrees. Twelve hours after fusing/annealing the disk was then fired and slumped into a shallow mold. The result is a unique creation impossible to copy and strictly one of one.
And like all my creations, each is brought to life in the piney woods of the Mississippi coastal plain. And also, by special order, available in a set of four, each with its own “fractured” design.
