Taking a cue from the preeminent work of Greene and Greene in the early 20th century, here is a lamp in quintessential Craftsmen design, the wooden structure expertly crafted by Phil Myer in quarter sawn Michigan white oak.
To this fine wood composition I have added an original design in medium amber opal whispy iridized stained glass, cut, copper foiled and silver soldered. The whole is then patinated, waxed and polished to a fine sheen.
Designed in a table height ideal for reading, with real acorn pulls and a pewter oak leaf medallion. Strictly one of a kind.
Note: The best reading lamps combine ample light without harsh glare. Thus, the glass chosen for this lamp creates a soft but uniform light ideal for a book or tablet.
