HEN AND CHICKS Made in bespoke fashion for a friend who diligently raises chickens and donates all of her egg money (and time) to animal rescue. She may never have a book written about her, but she is a true hero all the same. A sheet of water clear glass is over-layered with a sheet of Youghiogheny “fire and ice” stained glass. To this is added dark blue and light blue frit, with a hint of yellow. All of these elements are then fired to very high temperatures and fused into one inseparable work of art. 11”x 10.5” NFS
