VERKLARTE NACHT (Transfigured Night)**
This handsome quarter sawn oak lamp structure is embellished by glass from one glorious sheet of Youghiogheny. The copper-foiled and silver soldered mottled forest green is interspersed by striations of medium ocean blue, all with complex surface iridescence. Lighter accents of rare confetti glass complete the design. Finished with genuine acorn pulls and a pewter oak leaf medallion. This lamp is well adapted to serve either as a reading lamp or a center-of-attention accent lamp.
This design will never again be duplicated.

**This design grew out of listening to a string sextet of the same title from 1899 by Arnold Schoenberg.
